Brandi Johnson is a hair stylist who knows that the salon experience is about so much more than hair. She caters to not only the physical needs, but also the emotional needs of her clients. Her long term goals include plans to extend her team and marketing platform, and she knew she needed a compelling and unified visual identity to build her business under. She wanted a brand identity that acts as an out-loud statement of who she is and her business values. The vine covered “W” visually represents the name of her brand as well as appealing to the young millennial female creatives that Brandi caters to. Her logo also lends itself beautifully to letterpress, which perfectly reflects the craft movement that Brandi is a part of.
